I. INTRODUCTION Due to the impact of the covid 19 pandemic, many schools around the world have had to stop direct teaching and switch to online learning at home. The survey asked questions to explore the effects and effects of online learning on student learning outcomes through phonetics and phonology. II. METHOD The research was done by asking students selected at an online survey at Hanoi Capital University. The survey was conducted from May 1 to May 3 with a random number of 50 students. III. FINDINGS Figure 1 illustrates students' attitudes to online learning through phonetics and phonology. As can be seen, two-thirds of students said that changing face-to-face learning to online learning did not affect their academic morale. Nearly a quarter of students (20%) expressed attitudes due to the surrounding environment and some factors about learning equipment that made their lessons interrupted and negatively affected their learning. The remaining 5% think that they cannot adapt to online learning and its ineffectiveness causes a negative impact on their learning attitude. Figure 2 shows the effect of phonology and phonology online learning on student learning outcomes. About more than two-thirds (85%) of students said that online learning has a wonderful effect on their learning results. The learning atmosphere when learning online is quite comfortable and not too stressful like studying at school, making them more receptive and have a better learning spirit. Therefore, their final academic results are very good. In addition, some students found that online learning normally does not affect the lessons and knowledge conveyed by teachers and their learning results, accounting for 12%. 3% of the students expressed that studying online for too long causes stress and negatively affects their health, causing bad effects on their acquisition and learning results. Next, figure 3 gives us the results about the effectiveness of teacher-student interaction when learning online. More than half of the majority of the respondents (65%) said that class interaction is still very good. Although learning online through electronic devices makes them more natural and speaking is also quite lively. But still more than a third (28%) think that online learning makes them lazy to discuss and build lessons with teachers and the rest of the students say it has no effect on their communication. Figure 4 answers the results of learning resources through online learning. two-thirds of the students received the materials recommended and provided by the teacher, accounting for 85%. The resources are full of detailed information about the course which helps a lot with learning. In addition, a third of them said that online learning resources are more diverse and more interesting, giving them more inspiration to learn. At the end of the survey, figure 5 shows the difficulties and challenges of learning phonetics and phonology online. half of the students said that they had a lot of internet problems during their studies. Because the internet is not stable, many times the teacher's lecture is interrupted has trouble with the camera microphone or is exited from the class while studying, making the class effect not good. almost a third of students (15%) have problems with their learning equipment, sometimes their computer or phone breaks down so they have some trouble while studying online. And more than a third of the time reflects negatively on the learning attitude and interaction of students in the class. They believe that online learning makes students lazy to speak and their learning attitude is not focused. IV. CONCLUSION It is clear that over a period of long-term online learning, students have become familiar with it and bringing about great learning results. Many students show an excellent attitude and satisfaction when studying online, but there are still a few of them that have some problems or are not delighted. obviously, our survey is limited in size and it needs more research to improve and improve.
