what can we do to solve the problem of water shortage?

There are several ways to handle water scarcity problem. Some people believe that the only answer to this problem is wasting water in agriculture. Most of the farms do not have smart irrigation mechanism in order to use water properly which means that farmers give a lot of water to plants while the do not need. In this case, government should enact strict laws in order to use drip irrigation system so that consume less water. It would be mistaken to think agriculture is the only faulty factor in the lack of water. Several industrial company like tile factory use a lot of water and worse than it, they poison water and release it in natural habitat and kill a lot of species. To address this issue, government should give license with limited activity and force them to proper filter in order to avoid water pollution so that they can reuse this water. In addition, all of us knows the fact that we have dramatic reduction in rainfalls thus people should use water moderately. Some people use healthy water to wash their car or irrigation their plants or waste a lot of water when they do the washing up. In this case, government should impose some water restrictions and raise people’s awareness of water scarcity at the same time
