The population of wild bids
The population of wild bids 2Oo
The line graphs give information about the numbers of the population of different types of birds in the United Kingdom between 1970 to 2004. It is immediately obvious there was a considerable increase in the number of Coastal species whereas it was a notable decrease in the population of Farmland species between 1977 to 1998. As can be seen, all species had been increasing continuously from 1970 to 1977, although, there were significant drops in numbers from 1977 to 1979 and the only Coastal species, which have seen a steady increase in population over this period. There was also a considerable fall in the number of farmland birds of around 30% between 1977 to 1992, in addition, the rate of decline in the population appears to have slowed, it has remained relatively stable in the total number of all species of wild birds in the UK since 2000.
