As one of the big emitters in the world, Indonesia already has many plans to make our environment better. Those plans are in National Determined Contribution (NDC). President Joko Widodo restated the country’s commitment, which is turning its forests into a net carbon sink by 2030 through six strategies during COP26. Nowadays, companies are already aware of nature-related risks of their business. They have a choice to invest in nature even though it is a business risk. They also can report to CDP environmental disclosure system so they can understand whether investing in nature can be a good opportunity and also be aware of other risks and opportunities. This data can be used by investors and buyers into consideration to choose companies that reduce their risk profile. Supporting corporate transparency will encourage businesses to participate actively in Indonesia's national goals.
