Gap year essay where I wrote how i spent my time

Gap year essay where I wrote how i spent my time PA7g2
As I embarked on my gap year, I initially intended of furthering my studies in political science. After much introspection and self-assessment, however, I ultimately decided to shift my focus to information technology (IT). This was an arduous process that was not without its fair share of challenges, but ultimately, it was a decision that I am now confident was the right one for me. When I began my gap year, I had a clear plan for my future in mind. I was eager to further my studies in political science, as it had become a great interest of mine throughout my years in school. I was particularly fond of the idea of studying the nuances of the political process, and I believed that such an endeavor would be both intellectually stimulating and beneficial to my future career prospects. The decision to alter my academic focus was not made lightly. I spent countless hours meticulously weighing the pros and cons of such a move, and carefully evaluating its potential impact on my future aspirations. Ultimately, I concluded that transitioning to IT would be the most advantageous option for me. I was drawn to the appeal of the ever-evolving and ever-growing field of technology, and I felt that the skills and knowledge acquired by studying IT would be far more applicable to the current job market than those acquired by studying political science. The transition to IT was a difficult one. I had to learn a completely new set of skills, and the technical jargon associated with the field was quite alien to me. Despite the challenges, however, I was determined to succeed. I was cognizant of the potential this new major had to offer, and I was determined to make the most of my gap year. I am now in the final stages of my gap year, and I am confident that my decision to pursue IT was the right one for me. I have developed a strong understanding of the major, and I am now well-versed in the intricacies of the field. Though I have moved away from the subject of political science, I am still deeply interested in the discipline, and I am confident that my knowledge of IT will be invaluable if I ever decide to pursue a career in the field. In conclusion, my gap year was a period of immense growth and self-discovery. I am now confident that my decision to switch my major to IT was the right one for me, and I am eager to see where my studies take me in the future. Though I may have strayed away from my initial plans of studying political science, I remain deeply interested in the field, and I am confident that my knowledge of IT will open many doors for me.
