Fastfood consumption measured in tonnes

Fastfood consumption measured in tonnes 1PD57
The line graph gives information about three kinds of fast-food which are hamburger, fish and chips and pizza that were eaten in the UK between 1970 and 1990. The hamburgers and fish & chips that were consumed kept inclining, whereas pizza kept decreasing, and almost never showed a rise. In 1970, there was a tiny difference between the amount of hamburgers and fish & chips that was eaten (almost 30 tonnes). The amount of fish & chips that was consumed by the UK citizens gradually increased from less than 100 tonnes to nearly 150 tonnes from 1970 to the end of 1980. In addition, it rose dramatically after 1980, and reached the highest rate of fast-food consumption by the end of the period. The quantity of hamburgers that was bought by the people who live in the UK inclined slowly from more than 30 tonnes to over 100 tonnes in a fifteen-year-period. Furthermore, the sale of hamburgers increased rapidly between 1985 and 1990. Among these three fast-food types, pizza had the highest rate of purchase at the beginning of the period. In contrast, it couldn't maintain its popularity throughout the 20-year-period. Those who enjoy eating fast-food ate 300 tonnes of pizza in 1970. Then, it experienced a gradual decline until 1985. The amount of pizza that was devoured by the locals, showed a steady trend (around 200 tonnes) in the last ten years.
