Investing money to uplift the conditions of citizens is the primary responsibility of the government. However, some people consider that the government must allocate funds to confer facilities to its senior citizens, whereas, others believe government should give priority to the young people of the nation. In my opinion, while elderly reqiure the rudimentary care, it is nevertheless the youngsters who need financial support and encouragement. Spending tax money on old people is essential. They can not earn money for themselves because they are both physically unfit and not mentally healthy. Most importantly, most of the ritires are suffering from chronic diseases such as diabetes, which make their body fragile and weak. Moreover, some children often abandon their parents as they believe old people are burden on them. Therefore, they have no one to assist them if government devise schemes to facilitate them they will not experience any trouble during the last phase of their life. However, it is imperative to spend money to provide necessary facilities such as books, fees, to young people. This is simply because they are the future of the nation. If they get the quality education, they will become qualified and competent professionals and will certainly bring prosperity to the country. Both views put forward valid points, however, i firmly believe that students must get financial assistance.
