Fewer and fewer children are willing to look after their parents as they get older these days. Do the advantages of this trend outweigh the disadvantages? k7d
Taking care of parents is a responsibility cum duty of their children while they get older as it is of parents when children are born. But in today's world ratio of children willing to look after their parents is going down massively. Starting with today's generation does not like to listen anybody's viewpoint and do what they want to do. While elders in family have experience and can be helpful in making decisions that affect child's life. Taking care of them when they get old is not only a responsibility of a younger one while it is a non-deniable duty. Whole life of theirs have been spent to make there kids future safe and secure. To fulfill all their wishes they hard worked so hard not just to be left alone in the old age. Meanwhile, more and more mortals are deciding to just have one offspring which creates a burden on two young pupil to look after all the older ones. The income is not enough to meet the expenses and give good healthy life to parents. They also get so busy that are unable to provide specific time to elderly ones that is important aspect. Which is why they consider it better to send them to old age home where they can be looked after well. To conclude, it should considered that leaving parents is not great idea but sometimes situation make so hard that it is the only option left for good. Than individual must not leave their parents and keep on giving them visits if they have left them.
