Without a doubt, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) has made a substantial contribution to the dialogue and cooperation aimed at promoting peace and mutual development among its member countries. This impacts citizens daily and is not only between governments. From my perspective, ASEAN will benefit Myanmar, particularly in terms of job prospects.
We can purchase items more affordably and lower our cost of living because of the ASEAN Economic Community, which is reducing taxes across nations. In other words, we may now purchase things and food at lower costs. We might have improved access to healthcare, education, and other services as a result of ASEAN allowing entrepreneurs to form organizations without regard to national borders. We shall be able to fly to other places for ever-cheaper prices as air travel and tourism both advance. As a result, citizens' quality of life continuously gets better.
Doctors, dentists, nurses, accountants, surveyors, architects, engineers, and tourism specialists are just a few of the eight specialties whose employees are free to work without limits due to the recognition of their vocational and professional talents. As a result, the unemployment rate and worker quality have both improved in Myanmar. The organization also plans conferences and outreach initiatives that give individuals the chance to develop their professional networks and skill sets. Maybe ASEAN would stick to its guns on this position and encourage countries to be more transparent with their finances.
In conclusion, Myanmar's ASEAN membership has had a big impact on my everyday life, people's chances of finding work, and Myanmar in general. In order for the citizens of those countries to continue to benefit from the current policies, ASEAN will maintain goodwill among its member states.
