It is argue that education of children by using some physical and non-physical punishments is important. On the other hand, it is agreed that children can understand the difference between right and wrong at their early ages only by using an appropriate education method. This essay will discuss firstly, the benefits educations can bring for children and secondly, the social benefits it has; followed by a reasoned conclusion.
Teaching children at an early age and investment in this area is one of the best way to improve their treatments in their future. For this reason, some studies have been done to introduce effective education methods, which lead to higher efficiency, innovation and productivity on children. For example, South Korea and Finland took the decision to invest a large proportion of their budget on children educations by using high tech equipments. Despite this parents or governments can also teach children valuable soft skills, such as team work and work ethic which also help curb social companies.
However, some times children do not accept important lessons due to their ages. For these cases, punishments in various levels have been introduced. In some of these levels we can find different types of light and harsh ones, which include physical and non-physical ones. For example, some parents have to educate their children on the dangers of fire or crime by using punishments. In my opinion, physical punishment should not use or can be used in a very light version.
In conclusion, good education should take precedence over punishments due to many other long term benefits it brings. It is recommended that governments and parents continue to learn how they can use good teaching methods for children in order to realize long term goals
