To begin with, museums are not surviving without the money. However, museums are not only giving quality service but also maintain the building through the fund. In the museums several precious art gallery, monuments and antique items hence the maintaining cost of them very high. For instance, when I was in 7th standard, I was visited salar Jung museum at Hyderabad. This is the largest museum in the world. They take nominal fees Rs. 10. 0 per person but when I was entering the museum well maintained the building as well as artworks. They charge admission fees but they utilize very wisely.
Moreover, museums are a great source of knowledge for the humans. Museums gave the entertainment as well as education. People know about their history and culture from the museum.
on the flip side, some of the museums are not taking charges from the visitors. Free entry would encourage more public to visit the museum. While who can not afford the fees for admission, they can easily gain knowledge through the museums. For example, I was seeing the Shyamji Krushna Varma museum in the Kutch. Backpackers must visit the place because they know about our freedom history through the museums. They do not take charge because they would attract more people to visit the pace.
