Children should be allowed to use mobile phones in the classroom. Do you agree or disagree?

It is true that in this day and age, with the development of technology, mobile phones have become one of the most important and helpful tools in all fields of social life, especially in studying. Because of that, many people argue that pupils should be given permission for using mobile devices during school-time. However, from my point of view, I completely disagree with this idea. ( Good) Without doubt, cell phones tend to cause distraction. Students can easily be distracted when their phones ring or vibrate, and the lesson will be totally disrupted when the students start to send and read messages or make and receive calls, for example. Moreover, it is now easier for students to access to the Internet and play video games or shop online, therefore, they cannot totally focus on the lesson and will get bad grades. Moreover, cell phones can easily be used in cheating. By using the smartphones that are connected to the Internet, students can search for the solutions and answers or exchange text messages among them without the teacher’s knowing. Cheating is not only illegal in exams but it is also not fair to other students. In conclusion, from my personal point of view, I fully support the idea that mobile phones should be banned in the classroom mainly because it tends to cause distraction and lead to cheating when children are studying.
