The spent time on the computer shows a significant increase over the last nine years, while spending time on TV has a minor change compared to the computer (54). The time spent on TV between 2000 and 2003 remain steady, But from 2003 to 2004 a considerable decline happen with the amount of time that children spent weekly on TV. Also, It remained stable from 2004 until the present (40). A significant increase happens in the weekly time that children spent on the computer. In 2000, children spent about 3 hours per week on the computer. A slight increase happened from 2000 to 2001, while dramatically rise happened from approximately four hours to 22 hours per week from 2004 to the present year (53). Overall, before 2004, the children spent more time weekly on TV, however, after this year there spent more time on the computer. Children’s choice between these two leisure activities (TV vs computer) changed over the past nine years (38).
