The graph gives the result of an extended survey carried out in the us and Japan with the aim to reveal the percentage of joblessness over a 6 year period between 1993 to 1999. Through investigation of the demonstrated data, presents the valid grounds to state that the number of unemployed people in Japan progressed while in the mis declined. work Respite the fact that the indiector of unemployed force made up only & 4% in March 1998 the figure pradually climbed to 3. 5% during the next 3 years. From that point the percentage nearly stayed constant at around 3. 3 until March 1998. However, there was a remarkable growth reaching to just below 5% in March 1999. In comparison the indicator of jobless people in America was much higher in 1993. It was 7% which faced a considerable fall to 5. 4% in 1995. After a slight increase the index stopped falling until the beginning of 1997. The following 2 years the number of unemployed Americans steadily decreased to 4. 2%.
