The provided charts illustrate the proportion of population in South Korea between 2000 and 2050. Overall, it is noticeable the oldest and youngest groups will show significant changes over the period while other age groups will show slight changes over the period.
First and foremost, people 40 to 50 years old group was the largest proportion between four groups in 2000. This figure will increase by 3% to 45% in 2050. Furthermore, People over 60 years old showed similar trend. The percentage of this group was 10% and it will climb to 10% in 2050.
On the other hand, compared to elderly groups, young groups population will decline over 50-year period. people who lived in South Korea in 2000 of 0 to 19 years old was 15%. This figure will fall by half to 7% in 2050, which is the lowest rate throughout the whole groups and period. Lastly, 33% of 20 to 39 years old people was lived in Korea. The percentage will decrease to 29% from 2000 to 2050.
