Overall, it is clearly seen that, oil had the maximum energy of production. In contrast, hydroelectric power was the least energy production.
Looking at the graph for details, In 1980, the energy of oil production was 42 percent in the USA, which was the highest among the other sources of energy. Next ten years, it mitigated by 9 percent. However, for coal and natural gas, both of them, the figure for the former one, it augmented from 22 percent to 27 percent in the one decade period. Whereas, the later one, it declined by 1 percent and reached to 25 percent in 1990.
Analyzing the others sources, the energy of hydroelectric power was 5 percent in 1980, but it doubled between 1980 and 1990 years and reached to 10 percent. Interestingy, there was to remain stable in the nuclear power, it was to 5 percent.
