Australian population by their percentage of attending movie theater

The line graph compares the four age groups of Australian population by their percentage of attending movie theater at least once a year in the period between 1990 and 2010. Overall, it is clear from the graph that although majority of group that like to attend cinema was under 24 year, it was least favored by the people above 50 year olds. Over the 30 years, interest in attending cinema by people of all age have slightly grown. Over the period of 1990 to 1996 the 14-24 years olds percentage slightly decline just below 90% and reached to almost 95% which was highest in the year 1996, however rest three age ( 24-34, 35-49, 50+ years old) criteria experienced a gradual growth of approximately 10% between those years. In addition, from 1996 to 2000 figures decreased by 5-6% for all the criteria except 25- 34 years old where it rose from around 75% to 80%. With regard to the next 10 years, a period of stability was followed by the age group 14-24 years and 24-34 years old, similarly a same trend was followed for the 35-49 years old and 50+ years old where the saw an increase of 10% from 60 to 70 % and 50to 60%.
